1. What materials do you use for your 3D-printed products?
We primarily use high-quality, eco-friendly PLA (Polylactic Acid), a biodegradable plastic made from renewable resources like corn starch or sugarcane. It’s durable, safe for indoor use, and ideal for design-forward products like our lamps.
2. Do YIMO lamps come with a bulb, or do I need to buy one?
Our lamps feature an integrated LED system, meaning the light source is a permanent, structured part of the design rather than a traditional screw-in bulb. This allows for a sleeker, more artistic shape and ensures the light is perfectly diffused through the 3D-printed geometry. These LEDs are highly energy-efficient and designed to last for years of continuous use. For power, the lamp uses a standard DC power adapter (included). Simply plug it into any wall outlet just as you would a smartphone or laptop.
3. How long does it take to receive my order?
Each product is made to order, so production typically takes 3–5 business days. Shipping time depends on your location, but most orders arrive within 7–14 business days after production.
4. Do you ship internationally?
Yes! We offer international shipping to most countries. Shipping costs and delivery times vary based on destination and will be calculated at checkout.
5. Are your products environmentally friendly?
We do our best to reduce waste and environmental impact. Our use of PLA and on-demand production means less overstock and fewer materials wasted. We also strive to package orders with recyclable materials whenever possible.
6. What happens if my item arrives damaged?
We take great care in packaging, but if your item arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with a photo. We’ll either replace the item or offer a refund, depending on the situation.
7. Can I return or exchange a product?
Because each item is made to order, we don’t accept returns for non-defective items. However, if there’s an issue with your order, please reach out, we want you to love what you receive.
8. How should I clean or care for my 3D-printed lamp?
Use a soft, dry cloth or a lightly damp microfiber cloth to gently wipe off dust. Avoid harsh chemicals or scrubbing, as the material can scratch. Keep lamps away from high heat or prolonged direct sunlight to maintain their shape and color.
9. Do you offer wholesale or bulk orders?
Yes, we welcome wholesale inquiries, collaborations, and bulk orders for interior designers, stores, or events. Please reach out with your request and we’ll be happy to discuss options.
10. What makes 3D-printed products different from traditional ones?
3D-printed products are digitally designed and built layer by layer, allowing for greater precision, unique forms, and minimal waste. This process enables us to create designs that are often impossible or too expensive with traditional manufacturing.
11. Can I choose the color of my product?
Yes! Most of our designs come with multiple color options, and we’re happy to accommodate special color requests when possible. Just check the product page or contact us for custom color availability.
12. Are your products handmade or machine-made?
Each item is printed using high-quality 3D printers, but the design, finishing, and quality control are all handled by us, with great care. It’s a mix of digital precision and hands-on craftsmanship.
13. Are your lamps dimmable?
That depends on the bulb and socket you use. Our lamps are compatible with standard LED bulbs, including dimmable ones, just be sure to pair them with a compatible dimmer switch.
14. Do the lamps come fully assembled?
Yes. Our lamps are shipped fully assembled or with simple plug-and-play components. If minimal assembly is required (e.g., attaching the bulb), we include clear instructions.
15. Can I send your products as a gift?
Definitely! Our products make thoughtful and unique gifts. You can add a gift note at checkout, and we’ll include it with your order, without pricing information in the box.
16. Where are your products made?
All of our products are proudly designed and produced in-house at our studio. Each piece is printed, inspected, and packaged with care by our small team.
17. Do you accept urgent or rush orders?
We do our best to accommodate rush orders when possible. If you have a deadline or need a product fast, just reach out before ordering, we’ll let you know if we can meet your timeline.
18. Will my product look exactly like the photos?
Each 3D-printed item is made individually, so there may be minor variations in texture or layer lines, that’s part of what makes each piece unique. But the overall look, shape, and quality will always match what you see in the photos.
